TRANS-COUNTIES DT Sacco Society Limited is a tier 4 deposit-taking Sacco with over 31 years licensed under the Societies Act and regulated by SASRA (Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority). Over time, the Sacco has grown its asset base to over Kes.0.25 B with a membership of over 6,000 members drawn from Agribusinesses, Organized Groups, MSMEs, Individual Businesses and Employees both in Public and Private sector. The Sacco is seeking to recruit a suitable self-driven, result oriented and a highly qualified individual for the following position:
Credit Manager (1 Post)
Job Summary
Reporting to the CEO, the Credit Manager will be responsible for managing the Credit function of the SACCO efficiently and professionally. He/She will be expected to grow the loan book and recover loans according to the set targets and maintain relevant loan records as well as disseminating related information to relevant parties on a timely basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate development, implementation and continuous review of credit management system, policies and procedures in all loan processes.
• Oversee efficient and accurate loan processing, disbursements and recoveries within the set timeframes.
• Monitor non-performing loans and ensure timely follow-ups and recoveries.
Qualifications & Experience
1) Bachelor’s degree in Co-operative Management or Commerce or its equivalent from a recognized university,
2) Have served in the grade of Loan Officer in TRANS-COUNTIES Sacco or comparable positions in the SACCO or in like organizations for at least three (3) years.

Terms Of Service
The successful candidate will be appointed on contractual basis in line with the SACCO’s Human Resource Management Policy.
Remuneration package will be offered in line with the terms of service for TRANS-COUNTIES SACCO Staff.

The successful candidate must fulfill the requirements of chapter six of the
constitution of Kenya 2010 below:

- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations \r\n
- Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board/Compliance Certificate \r\n
- Tax Compliance Certificate from KRA \r\n
- Clearance from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission \r\n
- A Clearance Certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau CRB \r\n
