Who We Are
Trans-Counties SACCO Society Limited was established on 4th October 1993 as Kitale Tea Growers Savings & Credit Co-operative Society Limited under the Co-operative Societies Act to provide reliable financial services to its members.
The Society was formally registered under the Co-operative Societies Act (Cap. 490, Section 6(3)), Registration No. CS/6918. In 2013, it adopted the name Trans-Counties Sacco Society Limited. The Society serves its members through its operations in Kapsara Town, Cherangany Constituency, Trans-Nzoia County, with a satellite presence in Kapcherop Town, Elgeyo Marakwet East.

Founded by tea farmers spanning Trans-Nzoia, Bungoma, Elgeyo Marakwet and West Pokot Counties, the Society has grown from an initial membership of 150 to over 4,500 members.
